I'm ten minutes into Smallville.
- Lana didn't see Jason, but went upstairs when he arrived, and so did he?
- So Lex was supposed to be all "I'm here because I care about you, but this boyfriend thing weirds me out" in the hospital room?
- "In my apartment"? Anywhere in particular in your apartment, Lana dear?
- So they have the keys to a) Lana's apartment, b) Lexcorp?
- Why is Lexcorp having meetings in their plant? Don't Lex and the HR guy have offices?
- It's a neurological thing, Clark? Did Lana say that? There are a lot of physiological components to a panic attack
ita, I had many of the same issues. I also am getting increasingly annoyed by the whole "I'm about to tell someone....but NO, I can't!"
t dramatic hand to brow
angst. I feel like the show is getting increasingly repetetive and resorting to cliche more and more.
Secret? Someone has a secret? Let's talk about secrets!
Look, people, Superman will have a secret identity. We don't need to be continually reminded he can't tell everyone. If Lex finds out, he will not remember. If anyone finds out in this show, pretty much, they won't remember. Or they'll move to Ohio, or wherever.
Still, Clark running desperately to Lex and offering him bodily fluids -- "Use me!" was a bit pleasing.
Amanda agrees with Consuela:
I was like, 'OK, guys, we get it. She has the crush on her C.O., and it's deeper than a crush.' I'm making it sound trite, but it's not. There's a deep, deep love between the characters. There's a deep love she has for all the team, she just has more sexual feelings for O'Neill.
But, having said that, and knowing that it exists, and knowing that it can't go anywhere, can we not make her the chick? Can we move away from that and not be the whiny, pining chick?
I agree ... except I don't remember her whining.
It's a thin line between pining and whining. *g*
But ... Jack's the piney one! Honestly, I only remember it as her being reminded every now and again. Like every fifth time Jack looks at her with regret, she responds with "Yeah, no, me too! Except I have to rechannel the DHD to align the flux distributors."
Periodically she'd have these "all bottled up, can I spill now?" moments, but that makes perfect sense. Just ... rarely.
So they have the keys to a) Lana's apartment, b) Lexcorp?
I'm guessing Lana gave them her keys or something. Or she forgot to lock it in the whole hearing a crash and then seeing her bf unconcious thing. Or maybe Chloe knows where Lana hides her spare key.
As for Chloe with the Luthorcorp key, Clark gave her a surprised look when she whipped it out. I'm guessing they probably just didn't want to bother with another lame explanation as to how she managed to finangle yet another security badge this week. (I seem to recall her getting her hands on one several times in the past.)
Sumi- We didn't see who was in the limo, only Lionel's reaction.
I'm guessing Lana gave them her keys or something.
Just not in that scene. I wasn't really trying to think too hard, but there was so much "but how?" and "but if?" in the episode, it distracted.
Still, Clark got to crouch by a dazed Lex, and that's always a happy day in italand.
