Damn, I would love that. So, of course, now way. Pffpbt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, they need to put my friend on the team! Okay, so that will not happen either, but it's a little prayer I'll whisper from time to time.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Bah. Not unexpected, but. Bah.

Much as I love every member of the team, I don't think it would work without Jack. 'Cause Jack is the yummy glue that holds the team together. I'd have preferred they wrap up the series right-and-proper with everyone on board, instead of letting it limp into decline like an old, three-legged goat. Pfftt.

That said, I'd be totally on board if the fourth member were to be Adam Baldwin. No chance of that, I suppose.

You say goat, and it just makes me hungry.

I'm curious to see the result -- I wonder if any other cast members would walk if the synergy was too off kilter. He is glue, dammit! He's the irreverent, anti-sci-fi glue, even when he's sitting behind a desk.

Oh, undoubtedly.

OK, I've been doing a Band of Brothers marathon all day (never seen it before; all hail Netflix!) and is it so very wrong for me to have a raging crush on Lt./Captain Winters, despite the fact that he's not fictional and is probably still alive? Man, Damian Lewis is of the HOTT.

Hmm, maybe he can come play the fourth member of SG-1. I'd totally be up for that.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I will be very grumpy if they promote someone over Sam. I doubt they will; but if they do I'll be grumpy. Of course, I'm already gonna be grumpy.

Hopefully he'll come back to visit. *sniff*

You know, I wanted to be taken with Adam Baldwin last year on SG, but... wasn't. I mean, he was fine, but he didn't grab me at all.

Well, the friend of mine that auditioned is in his early 30s -- I don't think it was for a senior position.

Well, that's something. Hey, wait: they couldn't get another woman in? Hmpf. I mean, realistic, but hmpf.
