Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I recently discovered one of my krav instructors choreographs swordfighting. Which makes his presence on the Troy set more plausible. And is the indirect reason for his Scrubs appearance.

Unrelatedly, but thread-topically, I was looking askance at the Atlantis credits, with those thrusting towers, and rolling my eyes at the phallicity of it all.

Then I paused for a second and realised that every show, you have a team carrying big guns and staffs that blast diving into big wet holes time after time.

So it's all good.

Don't forget the big cylindrical shuttle that was designed so the stargate is just the right size for it to slide through when zipping back and forth.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oh God yes. Really, I have no idea why the Great Phallic/Yonic Stargate Vid hasn't been done yet, but I look forward to it.

Katie, you will holler when it goes up, yeah?

A great place to research Michael Shanks's looks.

Heh. Yes, I promise I'll let you know if it ever appears.

There's an rda_daily and a daniel_daily, too, FWIW.

I watch RDA_, but hadn't found daniel_.

jd_ is very compact, but I do have to avoid reading the comments.

Well, yes, there's that.

I'm even mildly J/D (they're so amusing), but I realise that I can never lay claim to that in a room full of SG1 fen. Then again, I don't suppose the J/S shippers are much better. Well, at least they don't have a js_daily.

Oh, who am I kidding? Aligning yourself with any shippers (or even with noromos) is gonna be dangerous.

I know what you mean. I appreciate most slash on general principle to some extent, but Angel/Lindsey is the only pairing that I'll put my weight behind pushing in a convention atmosphere. (I think by now I've proved my shamelessness on that particular topic...)

My geek moment of the Thanksgiving holiday: we were trying to remember the thing in turkey that makes you sleepy. What to I blurt out? Tretonin. MmmmHmmm. Well, no one around the table knew why that was so funny when I finally figured out what I'd said. And we got to tryptophan eventaully. Still. I worry me.
