I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It sets up Abyss? What am I forgetting? (Apart from the whole episode, in self-defense)

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Jack gets sick in Frozen. Aiyana dies before she can heal him. The Tok'ra offer to put a symbiote in Jack temporarily to save his life. Jack says no. Sam does doe eyes. Jack says yes. Kanan's put in Jack and drags him off to save Shallan from Ba'al, and ta-da, we get to put Jack and Daniel in a small room without props for 42 minutes. Well, okay, probably fifteen. Still, good times.

I forgot that was where he got the symbiote -- thanks.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

When they were first thawing her I thought she was Evangeline from Lost.

She looked to me a bit like the actress who played Sikozu on Farscape.

All is well that ends in pizza.

That's because Evangeline Lilly looks like every single slim, brunette, long-haired actress aged 22-35. It's friggin' uncanny.

She's an amalgam.

t intro scene from Parenthood

Usher: A what?
Gil: A combination of several ushers my dad left me with over the years. I combined them into one memory.
Usher: Why?
Gil: This was a great symbolic moment of my life. My father dumping me with you... it's why I swore things would be different with my kids. It's my dream. Strong, happy, confident kids.
Usher: That's great, that's great. You know, you-- you got a lovely family, and I'm a god-damn amalgam!

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Yeah, I saw it on Friday - didn't get it, tortured myself about it, and then decided to make it a gift.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Stangely, I found that character more reminiscent of Sikozu than I did Sikozu herself in the miniseries.
