Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For those wanting Farscape on DVD:

We've had Farscape: The Starburst Edition Vol 1 on the radar for awhile, but until the other day we had no idea what was on it. ADV Films is rereleasing the Farscape episodes in a cheaper configuration aimed at fans that passed on owning the show the first time around.

The first volume of the series, released over three and a half years ago, retailed for $24.95 and included 2 episodes. These new Starbust Editions include 7 episodes for the same price. We'll see volume 1 released on November 16th and volume 2 released January 18th. Here's a breakdown of the sets:

Art Crawl!!!

I'm confused -- Amazon has a season 1 set 1 that came out on September 28 -- is this different than the one mentioned in ita's post?

Also -- Amazon has the Peacekeeper Wars up for pre-order. (Comes out on January 18th.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Right on! Pee Wee's Playhouse finally comes out on DVD. Also the second season of Northern Exposure (when I started watching and the show hit its stride).

Art Crawl!!!

Caught Andromeda tonight and I notice that Rhade doesn't have the qualms about inter-species fraternization that Tyr did.

Also -- look Dylan is just so extra special. He's a Vedran now.

Sheesh!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Did Rhade's arm spikes get bigger when he was aroused?

And with his use of whitefont, DCJ demonstrates how spam is born.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I wasn't sure that it was arousal or wariness given the situation.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Aren't the effects of the two on the body as a whole fairly similar? (Excepting the obvious, of course)

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Stargate FYI: S6 is starting up on Sci-Fi tomorrow in the 7-11 timespan.
