Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

Plus, wasn't Clark 15 at the beginning of the series, 3 years ago? Guess all those meteor rocks are warping the time scale, as well as the locals' genes.

Considering that the writers' grasp of spatial relationships has skyscrapers from an East Coast city visible from a small town in Kansas, you expect their handling of time passage to make sense?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And once the alarms are going off, why are you standing there like a deer in headlights instead of super-speeding yourself out the door after Bart?

Yeah, that was really dumb.

With all the reference-dropping, I would have loved one either from Bart about thinking Lex has a cool voice or something about Lex putting words in the Flash's mouth.

What's the reference there?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My problem with super speed is their reflexes don't seem to match. Or maybe their reflexes aren't amped all the way up unless they're moving at speed. Was Bart coldcocked before he started to turn around? If he can navigate at the speeds he travels at, he should be able to turn any blow into a glancing one, by simply not being there anymore once he feels contact starting.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

What's the reference there?

Michael Rosenbaum(sp?) voices The Flash on Justice League.

ETA: Though Flash hasn't had any speaking appearences in this season so far. I wonder if there was some kind of scheduling conflict on MR's part.

I think Flash kinda got dropped in their reboot.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I could have sworn I saw him briefly, as it were, this season. Hmmm.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The Flash was in the Booster Gold episode -- the Zeppo-esque one. He doesn't have any lines, but the character is there.

Aha. Thought so. Still? No work for MR. Oh well.

Ha!

In the next episode of Justice League Unlimited (Dec 5), it says here, the old core four JL of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman will meet a young group of superheros, including twin shapeshifters ...
