"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh by the way, when John got into the wormhole weapon, I totally thought "Dude, you must have seen GET SMART - you should know that thing is never going to work the way it's supposed to." Of course, I was wrong about that, but still - hee!

So I just got an email from a Scaper about a new project Anth Simcoe is involved in, called "Eddie's Place in Space". It's a sci-fi comedy set in a bar on a space station, and the cast includes Anth, Lani Tupu, and Jonathan Hardy. The effects team and crew include a bunch of the Farscape technical folks.

It came with photographs that look, well, entertaining. Apparently the show is being shopped internationally and they're hoping to capitalize on Scaper loyalty. Which is nice, and god knows Anth is terribly talented, but it totally depends on the quality of the writing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

suela, that's GREAT! I hope it works out for them and they can sell it. I'd tune in, of course.

This from the person that used to watch Quark.

OMG, I loved Quark. I think it was before its time.

I still have a vivid memory of the plant guy lying on the floor with his legs in the air, going "beeeeeeee".

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I still have a vivid memory of the plant guy lying on the floor with his legs in the air, going "beeeeeeee".

Heavens, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one!

I don't remember much about the show, but I do remember being upset when it was cancelled.

I'd say I was surprised to find so many Quark fans out there if not for that darned buffista serendipity. It's kind of neat.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

The Bettys!

Betty One: You're the clone.

Betty Two: No, YOU are.

Together, to Ficus: Plant!

I loved Quark, that poor, short-lived show.
