On the upside, I discovered this when channel surfing by clicking right into an interview with Michael Rosenbaum. Mmmmm, that man has a lovely voice.
I think my favorite part of the Smallville Backstage Special (on the set of The Talon, and I didn't think that it was possible for it to look more garish, but somehow . . .) was when MR clowned Brooke Burke's tan. She acted as if it were a compliment (and she might have been stupid enough to realize that "interesting/facinating" is rarely a compliment). She was ORANGE, yo.
Brooke Burke seemed to have trouble telling the actors and their characters apart. So I pretty much ignored everything she said and watched and listened to the pretty (ie MR and TW) instead.

That didn't bother me so much because it seemed like the point of the special was to introduce new viewers to the show (even if it wasn't promoted that way). But her tan?! Yikes! MR almost made me believe he was serious.

that drove me nuts. Asking 'how did you feel when Chloe . . ." made me crazy. Actors. Characters. Get it straight. And it was clear that she didn't watch the show. She was more engaging on the Gilmore Girls special.

Actors do that too, though. It seems pervasive.
From what I watched, I would have enjoyed it more if Rosenbaum had hosted the special. He's vastly more entertaining and personable than the vapid orangesicle.
I wanted to pack up wee Allison Mack and take her home with me.
Yeah, but what the hell did they dress her in? It was horrendous.

Stop by my place on the way, 'kay?

It looked like retro Brat Pack not-so-chic. Good thing she's a cutehead.
I had Allison Mack's hair-style for a while in college. Unfortunately I still had me underneath it. But it was nice to see the hair again.
