I just started watching Farscape this weekend via Netflix. I've seen the first 4 episodes so far. I'm enjoying it, but I'm not hooked yet. I'm a little turned off by all the weird shaped aliens, but I like the story so far.
keep with it, Nonian. if you're not hooked by The Flax i will be completely shocked.
Farscape was recommended to me by the same friend who got me hooked on Buffy. She's never steered me wrong. I've got all the Farscape on my Netflix queue, but it's competing with Queer as Folk.
Heh, Farscape started out competing in my queue but quickly pushed the others out of the way. I confess, though, that I really adored the pilot and its promise, so the hooking happened early. That, along with all the encouragement pimping I got here once I started, convinced me that the permanent emotional hook lay ahead. Um, yeah. That was true. Your friend is wise, Nonian.
And it's more than just a one note hook, I should add. So. Much. More.
Is scifi playing the Farscape episodes in order?
That's my understanding, yeah. *looks around for Suela*
They skipped "A Bug's Life" -- went straight from "Through the Looking Glass" to "Nerve".
The commercial that the fans are going to be airing before the mini is available for preview at
Wow, that makes no sense at all. I mean, you can skip TTLG, but A Bug's Life and Nerve are in a lot of ways a two-parter -- the one follows directly on the other timewise and logicwise. Swift move, SciFi!
