Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Thrive to spite them

Were last nights SG1 and Atlantis supposed to be new? I haven't watched them but when I got home from dinner around 10 I switched on Atlantis briefly and it looked like a previous episode. I didn't watch much because I was exhausted so I just turned it off and went to bed.

According to my guide, they were both repeats. I think next week's are supposed to be new.

Thrive to spite them

The previews threw me off because I didn't actually pay attention to when they were supposed to be on.

Same here.

Art Crawl!!!

I don't know why they had repeats on last night -- just part of the mysteriousness that is Scifi's programming.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, don't most shows have repeats during their season? Has Stargate never done that and I just didn't notice?

Art Crawl!!!

But one week and then back to new episodes? That's what I didn't understand.

Is it because last night they figured people were traveling to wherever for Labor Day Weekend?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Is it because last night they figured people were traveling to wherever for Labor Day Weekend?

This is the case.

Actually it's become pretty much the SOP for many shows to run repeats during holidays.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, Stargate doesn't usually repeat during its two blocks, but it makes sense they'd do it for Labor Day.

Two more new episodes, then we're done until, um, January I think.

This makes me very sad.

Tonight I did catch a Jonas Quinn episode on syndication that I hadn't seen before. Memento I think.
