Sentinel withdrawl is my main reason for wanting Tivo

...and getting post 69 was her main reason for wanting to post that!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hi, my name is Theodosia and I watch Due South, Smallville, and Farscape. (Was, in fact, just watching a TiVo'd episode of the latter this morning... which is backed up on the TiVo since late April. I'm a little behind.)

DS, to my mind, has far more in common with Farscape than with Smallville -- for one thing, a more ensemble-type casting than you might perceive at first glance -- yeah, you'll see the Buddy setup, but the secondary characters all have full and purposeful lives, and their own arcs. DS is seemingly set in the same world that's as much like Smallville's as ours, but Fraser might as well be able to control wormholes for all the chance and coincidence that swirls around him. His Dad shows up a lot, too.

I'm home sick today, otherwise I'd be able to think of a lot more....

Actually, I didn't even notice the number. I just really am that lame.

Oh, and another thing about dS/Farscape -- strong women don't scare the producers. Thatcher practically is a Peacekeeper....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which makes me think about female characterisations on SG1. Is anyone (regular or semi-reg) less than asskicking on that show, of either gender? Sheesh.

Peru! Peru! Aw, fuck. I don't know where Brazil came from, sneaking in while Peru's back was turned. I'll say this for Brazil, it's awful light on its feet for such a big country.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hi, my name is Theodosia and I watch Due South, Smallville, and Farscape.

Replace Theo with SA and you've got a me statement.

You know, if you substitute "Peacekeeper" for "Mountie" a lot of the Due South plots still work....
