I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

SG casting: Per Gateworld, Claudia Black will only be in the one episode, not three. Alas.

Well, maybe they'll get her back, if they go to a ninth season. But yeah, disappointing.

ETA: I will say, MS has said the episode with CB was his favorite to film all season, so there's that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe she's really busy with all sorts of exciting projects.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

sumi, they didn't know they could get the jumpers outside of the city.

Any bets on the traitor? My money's on the sergeant.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Sumi, this is the first time they could get a ship out of the city other than through the Stargate.

I swear, I checked and DX's comment wasn't there. I typed a sentence, sent it and It looks like I'm much later than I was. I was!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Just finished watching the Stargate SG-1. Hmmm.

Sort of heavy-handed and suffering from the lack of the funny, but I liked that we got to see SG-1 fucking up yet another planet's delicate eco-socio-political balance inadvertently and causing catastrophe.

The main military dude looked sort of like Berg from Two Guys and A Girl, except without the perpetual smirk.
