Can we maybe vote on the whole murdering people issue?

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Our wings are not tired.

I thought they were both Lana.

Question: Do we use whitefont in this thread because it is fun, or is it because it is not NAFDA? Unclear of the tradition here since I just subbed.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I've been doing it because it was fun, and be cause it's iffy.

Usually we only whitefont when something is either a spoiler for the west coast when the East/Centrals are watching live, or when we have some speculation on the content of things such as this, where we are applying knowlege gleaned elsewhere to something officially shown.

This trailer has images of the show, and new faces, and we are spoiler speculating, so iffy....

Art Crawl!!!

I think that if it were a normal promo that had aired after the weekly episode we'd just be talking about it -- once the West Coast had a chance to see it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is anyone expert in DanielJackson hair? I'm watching Foothold (wherein Jack wears two different black tops), and his eyebrows look calm. Relaxed. Peaceful. Not like attack tribbles lurking, held at bay by his glasses.

I think it's because his hair is lighter. The pics I just found on the web look darker, but I can't tell if it's just a difference in display device. Was his hair lighter?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I'm not that much of an eyebrow specialist, I'm afraid, so I have no idea. Maybe he had them thinned or something.

I just noticed they weren't scaring me. Normally I want him to put his glasses back on. But his hair (scalp included) looked blond around the edges.

His hair definitely went through phases. Since I only catch random episodes out of order in repeats (stockpiling DVDs for Greece) I often can carbon-date the ep based on Daniel's hair. Jack's grey streaks, Sam's wrinkles, and Daniel's hair.

Speaking of catching random eps, just how many alien women has Jack boinked?

Two that I can think of--Kynthia (in Brief Candle) and Laira (in A Hundred Days).

If that's the case, then even though I've only seen about 15 episodes, I've seen both of the ones where Jack gets some. Obviously that was making me think the ratio was higher.

This is making me giggle in a dorky way.

Hee. Yes, they don't really take themselves too seriously most of the time. Gateworld has a video up right now with a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff from a convention they had up in Vancouver which is also very cute.

Fun with casting spoilers: Still no confirmation episode-spoiler-wise of whether Claudia Black is actually doing three episodes or just the one. On the other hand, apparently they're bringing in, wait for it, Wayne Brady. Which makes me blink. I mean, not in a bad way, but... hello, random.
