Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The Crack_van Farscape guide had me howling:

Noranti - aka Old Woman, aka Granny - showed up out of nowhere. No one can figure out where she came from and yet no one seems concerned about this, either. Making it more confusing, she doesn't turn out to be more than vaguely sinister. She does go around making a lot of remarks that are either cryptic or inane, spits on things a lot, and gives John drugs. She can also mind-warp people into seeing whatever she wants.

We can only hope the mess made of the fourth season was all her doing.

AND

I am so traumatized by Aeryn's death, I can't cross bridges or shop the frozen food aisle for months.

AND

John gets sucked into a wormhole by a really pissed-off group of Ancients, and meets a dude who looks like he should be the Narrator from Our Town in the village of the damned

OK, after hearing scary innuendos, I went over to Sci-Fi.com and what the Frell are they doing with their schedule? They do seem to be showing all of season one and a few season two and then nothing (Oct 14-16 8am-5pm except only to noon on the 16th). Meanwhile, they've got Taken on during the Sunday night spot. Grrr.

Also have a mention of the Firefly dvds, which I thought was odd. Yeah, it's sci-fi, but it's not their show.

eta Also, I keep thinking Porthos when everyone is mentioning Methos, and wondering why they are lusting after Capt. Archers beagle.

In fact, they turned Joss down to air Firefly because it was too SF.

But SciFiWire is not an entirely bad news source, despite the crappy attitude of the network itself.
