You know, Scifi wire shouldn't use the headline Let Smallville's Luthor Kiss unless they finish the sentence with "Clark".
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Heh. I was at a bridal shower over the weekend, and one of the games was the "famous couple" game, where we all got a sheet of paper with a list of one member of an allegedly famous couple, and we had to fill in the other person (like "Daffy Duck and ______", etc.)
One of the pairs was "Clark Kent and _______." It took everything I had in me to not write "Lex Luthor."
Ignoring the hoyay for the moment, I wonder if "Lana Lang" would have been acceptable...
Or maybe Bruce Wayne. Depending on your fandom slash subset of choice.
Oatmeal.
I just found out that the Homicide season 5 DVDs will be out on September 28, 2004, and amazon.com has them available for preorder now. Yay!
I just passed this info on to my enabler at work. She's inclined to buy dvds and lend them to me, I lent her my Angel tapes. It's a circle of media love.
Woo-hoo! Homicide S5! Which I have yet to see! And about which I've been bitter for over 2 years!
I still haven't quite forgiven Court TV for stopping its last run in syndication abruptly after S4. For all I know, Frank died from the friggin' stoke, for Chrissake.
On DS9 front: Couple of days agao, I was watching the S4 episode in which renegrade Jem'Hadar attacked the station and the crew of the Defiant was forced into helping Weywoun and the straight'n'narrow Jem'Hadar snuff out the rebel force. And what should I run across in the middle of the episode? A *Stargate*! Well, a "Gateway" in their term, but the same difference. There is a crossover fic begging to be written right there.
I'm still loving the stargate-in-orbit from last week's Atlantis. That was smart.
Of course, don't you need a power source to keep it up there? Or is it in one of those balanced orbits like an L5?

Well, there has to be some kind of power supply anyway to make it work in the first place. Power in space is easy. All that solar energy.
Ah! Thanks for the reminder, DX.
I was thinking about this city under the water. With all the wacky technology at the Ancients' disposal, why wouldn't they use some sort of geothermal source to power the city? This whole running-out-of-power thing just seems silly.
The burning question Atlantis left me with is--- where are they going to get food to feed all those people?
