Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Thanks so much; I'm rather proud of it. Happy is harder in a lot of ways.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Happy is harder in a lot of ways.

Yes, very much yes. You pulled it off beautifully in Tuscany.

I think that happy is harder than dark'n'angsty because it has the potential to devolve into schmoop.

Anyone want to discuss the difficulties of happyfic in the fanfiction thread?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, I can't promise I'll have anything interesting to say, but I'd certainly read with interest.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I keep wondering if when we meet the Furlings or The Ancients if one will finally be the race that most approximates humans.

"I am the one they call Yahweh," says the leader.
"I am Jesus," says another.

"Holy crap," says Gen. O'Neal, under his breath.

Then more join in. "Mohammad." "Moses." "Jeanne."

"Joan?" asks O'Neal, puzzled.

Daniel Jackson leans in close to Jack's ear. "Yes, that's the english approximation. I think she means Joan d'Arc. Joan of Arc. Which is interesting. It means there has been an ancient, her specifically, on earth as recently as—"

"Daniel..." O'Neal cuts him off.

"Sorry Jack." To new aliens, "Please. Continue. We mean no disrespect."

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Why couldn't they just be Goa'ulds. They look like humans, and were on the planet during the time all those folks were.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yeah, but there wasn't as many Tok'Ra then.

Plus? I think either way... Not likely to touch mainstream sacred cows.
