It just never occured to him that it was "his."

Daniel, that's an excellent fanwank.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Thank you, I do what I can.

Satraget Clue ... now that could actually be a lot of fun. Except I really suck at Clue. But I like to play anyway.

Daniel, that's an excellent fanwank.

What ... no love for the pie theory? Humph.

OK. Fine. Daniel's is more likely. Good, even.

ETA: Never mind. I was going to fix it, but ... nah.

Emily, can I use your "Thor just got Shirty!" line as my tag?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Aww, Jen, I liked the pie theory. And to be fair, the mess really is the only place we've ever seen him doing paperwork.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Good point, Katie. Jack strikes me as someone who would have trouble working in the peace and quiet of an office.

More unspoiled spec: If Jack is going to be deskbound for the most part (and you can be sure that he'll find as many excuses as possible to go on missions) and stuck at SGC, I wouldn't be surprised to see a number of scenes of him butting heads with the new resident Goa'uld.

Speaking of which: Who here thinks Camulus is a genuine defector and who thinks that he's only pretending to defect in order to spy on the SGC?

What I'd like to know is if SG-1 is gonna be a 3-man team now. Isn't that, well, kind of unsafe? Don't they need the extra firepower, at the very least?

Frankly, I'd always thought it odd that SG teams were so small: six seemed like a safer number than 4, to me. Harder to film, sure, but a military unit of 4 is pretty damned small.

I dunno. (And no, that's not obfuscation; I haven't seen spoilers about it.) Gut response, I think that for now he's trying to stay on a winning side, even if it means he'll be a prisoner--making the same gamble Apophis made back in Serpent's Song. But I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him.

RE Jack: Twenty bucks says the season finale will feature Jack Going Through The Gate After His Kids, Damn The Torpedoes, particularly if they're sure it's the last season. But that may possibly just be me looking for a little itch-scratching...
