Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

'Bushwhacked'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, they do, actually. It's funny, because they're so cheerfully willing to disregard canon if they decide they don't like it. ("Nope, we're doing that differently now. La la la!") But it's nice to see things come back around, whether they were set up to do so or someone just thought three years later "hey, didn't we have...?" Gives the universe something of a sense of history.

Art Crawl!!!

What's up with Farscape on Scifi?

Are they going to show the rest of Season 4 so that I might complete my tape collection? Or are they going to continue to DRIVE ME MAD???!!??

It's the latter, isn't it?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Sumi, they're (I believe) running season 4 at midnight or something on Sundays. But I'd check the schedulebot at their website to be sure.

There's some sort of Chain Reaction in October, but I forget when.

Thrive to spite them

The last episode of Ultraviolet was on Sci Fi today. Did they show all of them today, I didn't even check the schedule.

UV is such a great miniseries.

I've always been sorry they stopped that series there, yeah.

Thrive to spite them

It was a wonderfully frustrating way to end the series.

And I've just realized that I've misplaced my Ultraviolet dvds.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why didn't anyone warn me about the Ultraviolet? Steve the TiVo can only do so much, you know.

You've named your TiVo?

You didn't name yours?

I don't have one yet.

I think I'm mostly surprised that you named it Steve, and not, I don't know... Orli or something.
