It was something about how women would have one particular best friend for long periods, and that men were more likely to have a set of closer friends, with more variation over time.

Like I said, very generalized and of course not to be relied upon as evidence of much of anything in any particular situation.

Ness keeps moving her site, and she has all these frames in her fic site which drive the reccers nuts. Anyway, looks like this is where she is at the moment. Of her fic, I like "Sense Of" particularly well, because it's disorienting and hella weird. Some of her stuff is kinda fluffy, so as an author-rec, it's a qualified one.
