Color me stupid. Possibly stupider than Clark. Duh.
Not possible, as this episode demonstrated. All in all, that was an excellent episode, but how effin' dumb is Clark? Galactic-level stupidity in this episode. (Side question relating to Clark's stupidity - why doesn't Lex ever question how Clark gets to Metropolis so fast? And why doesn't Clark seem to by even trying to hide his speed anymore?)
MamaKent and Clark in the BarnLoft of Solitude was sweet and I liked the first word Clark said was his mom's name thing. I have come to dread the final Loft of Solitude scene because it is always with Lana. But my dread was misfounded this ep.
I totally agree with this point. When I saw the BarnLoft, and someone coming up the stairs to talk to Clark, I actually groaned and thought "Oh no, more Lana", which is a frequent reaction when she appears on screen (unless she's getting trampled by a horse or something).
Maybe Lana could die and come back as a blue-haired God. Course, it'd probably be the Blue-Haired God Of All That Is Bland.
Death Knell is great to watch right after To'kra I & II. Poor Sam. I also still have wounded Sam from Grace in my head, when they show her exhaustion, and her back in the infirmary. Poor Sam.
But she does get a great comforting hug from Jack, so that's something.

Amy Acker's portrayal of Illyria on Angel is interesting because she wasn't previously playing a stone-faced, self-righteous character with no understanding of human emotions or motives. IJS.
And then, not only would her parents be dead, but
so would her entire empire
. I think she might be more likable if she had gode-strength and got to use it, though. She moped less when she was hitting things.
I've got it! She could take as her mission to destroy all things bland and boring.
Stop hitting yourself. Stop hitting yourself.
Or, you know, just send her to Paris, already.
If, hypothetically, one were wondering how the whole vid-making process happens, where would one go for informative step-by-step descriptions?
I believe there's a pretty good discussion on Farscape Fantasy, Emily. And you might also want to join the YahooGroup Vidder, I'm sure there's a lot of guidance in their files and archives.
I did look at the Farscape thing. Looks like first thing I'd need to do is invest in a new piece of equipment -- no way to just fiddle around with what I've already got and see if I liked it. And since I know my attention span... guess not.
There's also the lj community "vidding."
You know DebetEsse, shouldn't the whole Lana's parents being dead thing be white fonted? IJS.
