So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The absolute perversity of casting Terrence Stamp as Jor-El just friggin' hit me. Color me stupid. Possibly stupider than Clark. Duh.

giggles

So, Ben is Glory? Lana's Parents are Dead? Perverse Casting, Thy Name is Smallville?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Much the same as Annette O'Toole as Mrs. Kent?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Well, casting Lana as Clark's mother was a perversity from day one, but I always thought casting one of "dem Duke boys" as Clark's dad was actually more of a perversity.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hand the paintbrush over, cause I still don't know what you're talking about. Unless it's the Star Wars thing.

Also, that was a great episode.

M. Stamp played General Zod in the Supes movieverse.

I understand all those words but "Zod."

Art Crawl!!!

I thought that was an excellent Smallville possibly because it was mostly Lex and Lionel.

That's always been the best thing about the show. The first episode I ever saw was the first season finale, and what hooked me was the brilliant setup of Lex's having to choose whether or not to let his father die trapped under a column.

That, and Chloe. Mmm.

This heart ain't gonna cut itself out

Lex broke Lionel at the end. Broke him in two. And kind of enjoyed it.
