Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Except it's called "Last Stand in Open Country."

D'oh! Yeah, "Last Man Standing" is some godawful Bruce Willis movie. Don't know where that came from.

Sisabet's probably my favorite vidder out there. There's not a single vid she's made that I don't like. I even dig her QAFUS stuff, nevermind I've never seen any episode of the show.

Despite the social anxiety and my usual hermitastic attitude, I am so utterly psyched about Vividcon. Man, I wish I had the time/patience/eye/wherewithal to vid.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hey y'all. CKR is apparently guest starring on that Stephen King hospital series (which is still on, who knew?) next Thursday - 8 Central.

Summary that hardly merits white font, but what the hell:

Terror awaits a ball player (Callum Keith Rennie), a retired first baseman who relives his World Series disgrace in a macabre odyssey set in motion by his suicide attempt.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

CKR was also on last week's episode of Touching Evil. He looked... kinda rode hard and put away wet. Well, he was playing a traumatized-off-his-gourd-and-now-psychotic war vet so maybe the look was deliberate.

I have yet to see him play a good guy on a guest-starring role on TV. He's always playing some kind of psychotic abusive bastard. Why is that?

On an unrelated news, I'm watching my shiny new S6 SG DVDs, "Descent" specifically, and the red-shirt guy just ran across a bunch of ninjas on an abandoned Goa'uld ship! The hell?

He did a two-parter on Nikita where he was good. And man, was he ever. Seriously, he was just glowing. You don't see that side of him nearly often enough.

This is the first time in forever I've actually been able to watch Stargate on Friday night. And it's one I've seen. But I have to say that elevator conversation with Sam and Jack is one of my favorite scenes.

ETA: Wait, ninjas?

I tried a couple of NiKita episodes and it sadly didn't take (I think it was mainly 'cause of Roy Dupuis' mullet), but I badly want to watch this two-parter, just to see CKR.

Wait, ninjas?

Well, ninja-Jaffas, by the look of it. They're all in black, they've got these long-ass Japanese swords by their sides (for decoration--'cause it looks like they prefer using staff-weapons), plus there is all this twangy samurai music. Ahh, ethnic bad-guy tropes on this show. I dunno if I should be offended or something, but more often than not, they just crack me up.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, Descent just came around again in syndication, and I'd completely forgotten about the ninjas. I was all "the hell?"

Also, Vividcon! In only... four months! *bounce*

...crap, if I want to use my frequent flier miles I've gotta get on that.

Heh. This is me exactly. I'll watch that one any time I catch it, but otherwise never.

And man, was he ever.

Oh! The architect, with the cute glasses and cuter daughter! And then Nikita fucking loses the daughter in a mall? I loved that!

(I'm a wee bit tipsy.) brenda, where you been? Feels like forever since I've seen you around!

I know! I've been mostly dark for the last few months, but I've just moved and gotten internet at home again, so that should be at an end.
