Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I completely hadn't remembered. Lex's pecs from this ep are burnt into my retinas though.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

ETA: OK, I'm on to DNA Mad Scientist now. They chopped of one of Pilot's arms? Dude.

Farscape takes HSQ to a whole new level. I couldn't believe they chopped off Pilot's arm.

Who did the High and Dry one cos that was great

I don't know that one, UTTAD. My favorite vidders in Farscape are probably Tazey, Birgit, DallasScaper, and -- now -- Fialka and Laura Shapiro. Other very good vidders are LithiumDoll, KOBA-TV (AnnieBW), ScapeSisters, AnduraNova, FieryHands, Bruce Micales...

Most of those vidders can be found archived on FarscapeFantasy, although I know Tazey, Birgit, and Fieryhands keep their own websites as well.

My problem with Farscape vids is that 95% of what's out there is really shmoopy John/Aeryn, done to shmoopy pop. Give me examinations of other characters, different music, unconventional storylines. For whatever reason, that seems to be hard to come by in this fandom.

The Scorpy vid set to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Strawberry disappointment.

Thanks Consuela, I'll have a look at those.

Oh, god, yes. DallasScaper is *brilliant*. He also did that Coldplay one set to Politick, where the romance of it is balanced out by the brilliant editing. The last 40 seconds are jaw-dropping.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Heh. I think this is probably true for most fandoms. Not just for vids, but for fic as well. I've become fairly selective about what I watch & read over the years--I should try to broaden my horizon and read & watch the work of the folks I'm not familiar with, especially since I contribute to a rec site... but man, so much of what is out there is just so cringe-inducingly bad. It's err, somebody's law, ain't it? Sturgeon's? Goodwin's? (No, that's the one about the Nazis.) Hmm.

Sturgeon's Law: 90% of everything is crap.

For whatever reason, that seems to be hard to come by in this fandom.

With the vids and the fan fiction.

And why are people contacting me about Save Farscape campaign stuff? Whyyyy? I did my time, and will do no more. Blood from a stone.
