In their defense, it's early season 1 right?
It's pretty much the first episode after the pilot (if you consider both "Children of the Gods" and "The Enemy Within" the pilot, as I do). And yet, quite possibly the worst episode in the whole series, what with one thing and another. If only Daniel had been sleeveless.
Sort of like Jeremiah Crichton, then.
Shudders at the memory of the mangy badger eating Crichton's face
Ew. OK, maybe one I don't want to see.

It was just an awful looking fake beard, Jen. Almost another good reason not to see the episode. I was just trying to express HOW awful it was.
Heh. Well, I've seen the damage bad wigs can do to a show; I fear the awful beard no less.
(But I am glad to know there's no actual mangy badger)
Oy. That's not nice.
No. No, it really wasn't.

So the idea of a mangy badger disturbed you more than the idea of a critter eating Crichton's face. Hec, you taking notes?

No ... other way around. Or, rather, glad there was no actual mangy badger actually gnawing on Crichton's face. Stop taking notes, Hec.
ETA: Also? The beard-thing in that picture is disturbing.

Browder thought so too. So much so that the next time he needed to have a beard he actually grew it.
