Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Harmony ,'First Date'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

It was designed to smoosh together the space opera & hoyay threads.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

This thread? As a combination of the Smallville, dS, and Farscape threads. Things like Stargate and Highlander are sort of grandfathered in, since they were topics of discussion in the dS thread already.

People's concern over a general TV thread was both in terms of the volume it could generate and in the nightmarish spoiler rules we'd need.

So, like, sci fi OR slash? I'm just trying to get it clear, because every time I come up with a unifying theme I realize it doesn't really work.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There is no unifying theme, Emily. Just enumerated shows, basically, and a bit of drift.

Clearly I don't have a problem with it, being all over the SG & FS & SV & dS and, well, not really watching anything else (actually, my rule is something like "If shrift or Dana write it or rec it"*). But it seems like newcomers will always trip over it. Whichever.

(* Plus Stargate. Yeah, that doesn't work either. But I think they should write it.) (So really my actual rule is something like, "whatever I want to discuss, and then there's some stuff other people talk about that I skip over.")

The best guide is the thread header:

Although I'm the paranoiac that'd have written it like:

I see. You're discriminating against TV shows watched by the lazy uncorrected near-sighted.

Help! I'm being oppressed! Just because I can't be bothered to find my glasses, doesn't meam zo fpm y rdfrdrtbr fodviddopm. See? I'm exactly the same person with or without!

(Edit: four rs, but only two ds, in rdfrdrtbr. How embarrassing.)

The thread description on the main page reads

I think that was to refer to the other shows listed in the title.
