You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

juli, MythQuest used to wander through the Saturday morning PBS schedule in DC. I caught some of it, but never saw any kind of resolution. It was interesting - and, as far as I could tell, they tried for some kind of historical accuracy.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Really? Excellent! Un-Nerding ahoy!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm assuming Willy Wonka will somehow be involved in the mini-series, given that John & Aeryn are a pile of Nerds.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Also, Ultraviolet is airing tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday from 10-Midnight Central time.

And if you have not seen it, for the love of Dog, DO.

Ultraviolet being close to perfect and all.

However, just skip Strange. Unless you're looking for Shows that Make the Sentinel Seem Like Shakespeare.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Tim Drake figured out Batman's identity all on his own, and then kind of blackmailed him into making him his partner, and so on.

See, in my Batman world, that is a guy named Tim Drake just begging to be assassinated. Er, I mean to accidentally fall off the tallest building in Gotham.

I think my Batman is a little crazier than canon Batman. Or anyway, more psychotically parsimonious in his application of "justice".

Hmm. Jack Davenport. (After watching S1 of Coupling, I finally realized that I remembered him from The Talented Mr. Ripley, and that I really liked him in it.)

Must set VCR.
