Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

This heart ain't gonna cut itself out

You know, I've always liked the idea that Chloe took Lois Lane as her pen name.

I love this idea. It's true that Chloe is expendable because she isn't canon. I'd hate to lose her, but I'd definitely be into a storyline where something happens to her and Clark blames Lex and it all spirals downward from there.

Why is Lana so mindnumbingly dull? Why would they do that? I swear, coming to this show as a new viewer this year, it is the one aspect that I just can't get over. I guess they must think she's actually interesting? As far as I've seen, the only thing that matters to anyone about Lana is who her boyfriend is at the moment.

Oh - or what guy is stalking her at the moment. Forgot about all the stalking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd like it if Lois weren't Chloe.

For me, it ruins the bits of their Metropolis interaction that I'd liked -- the city girl/"hick" thing. I can't see Chloe falling for Superman to Clark's detriment either.

I have a plan.

I'm with Ita on the Lois-not-Chloe thing. Though I'm something of a stickler for canon, so I'm also with DCJ in the Lana = redhead corner too.

That being said, I'm not sure why I watch the show.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Though I'm something of a stickler for canon, so I'm also with DCJ in the Lana = redhead corner too.

See, in my canon, Lana is played by Annette O'Toole.

I have a plan.

She had reddish hair in S-III so she counts.

I admit, my knowledge of Superman comes pretty much from my very vague memories of the movies, Smallville, and from the kind folks who filled me in after I posted about knowing nothing about comics on my LJ. So, I'm pretty much in the dark about Lois and Clark's canon relationship. Always willing to learn though.

Indeed you were. Remember, I admitted that until a few months ago I actually thought that Batman was superhuman because he'd been bitten by a bat? Somewhere in my childhood I guess I just took Spiderman's story and adapted it to fit Batman. It's horribly embarrassing. I'm getting better though. I actually work down the street from Midtown Comics here, I need to check it out. At least I know that I didn't miss any important information about Aquaman.

This makes me giggle, but it could be a result of just how *silly* I find Aquaman to be.

Silly?!? He can telepathically communicate with fish! Imagine how interesting their thoughts must be.
