A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Snerk, SA.

So I just watched 1969. Highly entertaining, so long as you don't think about it too hard. Heh.

And Teal'c! With hair! And Jack's hat! And Carter's glasses! Love the glasses.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

And the clothes. I love the clothes. And Daniel's accent.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yes, for God's sake don't think about 1969. That way lies madness. But how adorable are they? "Okay, we're stuck in 1969. ...who wants to play dress-up?" And Jack, King of the Straightforward Plans. ("There's a gate in Antarctica.")

Woe to the fucking wicked.

No, Frank. I was about to come on and post about having just seen the same episodes. I've been getting them through NEtFlix, but had issues with receiving a particular DVD from the series (The one with PK Tech Girl on it). My bad on the unclear.

I think I remember that one being hard to get, too. They must have fewer copies of it than the others for some reason.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They must have fewer copies of it than the others for some reason.

I'm sure damage to one disc of a multi-disc set wreaks havoc with inventory control.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Speaking of which, any word on the season 3 complete Farscape? I keep checking at the DVD price compare locations and there never seems to be a date scheduled. Season 4, I don't know what I'm going to do about. The sets are too pricey to be completist in this case, I think. Maybe pick and choose the individual sets?

ADV doesn't have it on their site yet, and neither does videoeta.

For S4, I don't know what to do either. I'll probably wait until the sets show up a bit cheaper on half.com.

ADV has been releasing the complete season sets in the fall, so I'd expect the season 3 box set to be out in October or so. I bought them as they were released, but I've been holding off on buying the season 4 disks.

Again, for those who don't know: ADV is a small firm without a lot of capital, and Farscape is very much a niche show. As a result they can't afford the big print runs that allow for cheap box sets like the Buffy & Angel runs. They have, however, been very good about working with the fan campaign to provide donated or at-cost dvds for the Military Project and other efforts.

Yeah, I remember that - I just could have sworn somebody mentioned it was coming out soon a while back. Maybe I was thinking of season 2? Was that just this past fall?

Have the more recent small sets (i.e. season 4) been coming out in broadcast order, or are they still getting creative with throwing episodes together? I need to review the episode list so I can figure out what to bother with.
