Actually, I canna remember -- was there *any* point to bringing Stark back?

None whatsoever.
By the time Bad Timing rolled around, I was so disenchanted with the season that I sat there just waiting for DK to drop in something utterly insanely bizarre. So when they got zapped into jujubes, I just laughed and laughed.
was there *any* point to bringing Stark back?
I keep getting confused, because I think that you are referring to Sark (no T) on Alias. And if anybody saw it on Sunday, how hot was Vaughn with the accent? (fans self)

3rd season, he had news about Jofee to bring to D'Argo. 4th season, not really. He was kind of useful as the antagonist in John Quixote, but he wasn't REALLY there, either. I still don't understand exactly what he was doing there in "We're So Screwed".
Although, now that I think about it, was the ever any point to Stark in the first place?
Poor Paul Goddard - I don't think he's a terrible actor, but they gave him exactly one note to play, and it wasn't an interesting one.

That's the appearance I meant.

My side, your side, my side, your side....
That's the appearance I meant.
And why were there clones of him torturing people?
There's at least one episode of the three parts I watched twice because I thought I had been too drunk the first time I saw it to follow the story. Turns out I wasn't.

Oh, God.
Hot.
Sadly, Michael Vartan is still dead to me, what with poor Scott Foley looking on miserably as the show's stars canoodle and smirkingly tell the press they're "just good friends."
I wonder if I would have been similarly disenchanted had it been Jennifer Garner who was left out in the cold.
