But if the world doesn't end, I'm gonna need a note.

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I'd like to see them play with the idea of evil - maybe have him get into more morally gray areas, and actually make the audience sympathize with his evil acts because they're done with such good intentions.

I thought this was what they were already doing. That's what made the show worth watching for the time I was watching it.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I wouldn't be surprised - I'm not sure what kind of producer he is now, but he's definitely both writing for and directing the show.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

He's so much more interesting now, and I just can't wrap my head around the idea of a Smallville mega-evil mogul in his early twenties.

I imagine Lex won't go completely evil until Lionel is out of the picture, which the producers should keep from happening until near the end of the show's run, if they are smart.

Everyone pretend that's what I said. This is not the tongue-tied idiot you're looking for...

Art Crawl!!!

I could swear I saw Clark in a phonebooth removing his shirt in the promo.

Also, did you see the promo with somebody typing up an article -- something to do w/a ski-masked figure leaping from the Daily Planet building to the Luthor Corps building? I'm glad that they're following up on that!

Thanks for all the fish.

I caught a bit of Stargate last night (it airs on Space just before Firefly) and TERRY DAVID MULLIGAN was on it! Guys, TERRY DAVID MULLIGAN! I hate him so much!

How funny to see all the VJs of my youth 'acting'.

I can't even.

TDM has been an actor since before his dj days, but I caught just the end of that and thought, must have been shot in Van-groovy, eh? And it was.

This is a Canadian thing, isn't it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What epsiode was he in?

Thanks for all the fish.

TDM has been an actor since before his dj days,

Fine, fine, but I still hate him.

This is a Canadian thing, isn't it?

GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT!

What epsiode was he in?

Uh, I dunno, but it ended with the people on the planet being more technologically advanced than the Stargate people realised and they got kicked off the planet and the Stargate got buried... And next episode is about people who age really fast - one year in 5 days or something.
