That's beautiful. Or taken literally, incredibly gross.

Hmmm. Not that I didn't love Kyle Secor's character and think his storyline was groundbreaking, but he played a bisexual man who principally dated women. Taking him as the standard bearer for my particular minority would be like Carmen Electra representing the Cherokee Nation—there is a link present, but she's not exactly typical.

Art Crawl!!!

It's a bad sign when regulars on a show start signing up for other gigs, isn't it?

From zap2it:

Hershey will co-star in The WB's drama "The Mountain." She'll play the mother of Oliver Hudson's character, a 25-year-old who inherits his family's mountain resort after the death of his grandfather. Anson Mount (ABC's "Line of Fire") will play Hudson's brother.

Good point. Now that I think of it, wasn't the computer analyst on Profiler gay, but without a huge deal being made about it? There was a storyline where the serial killer du jour was possibly after the whole team, and therefore the team's nearest-and-dearest had to bunk down in the HQ. Computer analyst's partner was amont the crew.

I also know there was a dropped sub-plot on CSI about the ballistics tech and his boyfriend adopting an infant.

It was his "roommate", they never said that it was his boyfriend. Of course, by the same token, you could have said the same about Sam and Angel. I don't think that they ever came out and said he was gay.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, George on Profiler was gay.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh sweet lord, I watched Celeste in the City with some friends (snarky ones, thankfully) and we all thought his character was awful. It was like watching Xander pretending to be gay, with Carson Kressley as his only guide. Plus, t shallow they even made him look bad. Poor Xander! t /shallow

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Ya know, Tok'ras is *so* stoopid.

I know! We've all seen what Wish!Xander looked like—if Nick's character were on the prowl for men in NYC, that's how he'd look!
