You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I hope it doesn't just turn out to be undercover Goa'uld. Although I can't imagine who else would have the desire to fuck things up the way he keeps trying to.

Yeah. I keep thinking the same thing, yet Kinsey seems too incompetent for this to be true,

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

My snail-like pace through season 1 Farscape (I can only say that once I get to about 1/3 of the way through 2, I have no new episodes to see, other than random episodes in 2-4), I just watched A Human Reaction. Must have been one HELL of a mind fuck if you didn't know what was coming (sadly, I've seen Kent McCord too many times on the 'Scape to think it was REALLY John's dad). Certainly makes John's initial reaction in Won't Get Fooled Again a lot more coherent.

Also watched the extra Gigi interview and she is so adorable. I mean, Chiana is pretty cute too, but Gigi is just so friggin' cute it's unbelievable. I think Anthony Simcoe may actually be closer to D'Argo than Gigi is to Chiana, which is pretty funny.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Anthony Simcoe is insane in all the best ways. Also deeply deeply funny. Gigi is adorable. Cute as hell.

Would that make more Goa'uld found on earth than stargates? Really, your right, I think Kinsey should be an entirely human antagonist with human everything (motivation, resources, etc.).

I like what they're doing with transitioning the story-line to include people new to the fact of the stargates existence. New people get introduced to it all the time but now they're major characters who have influence over how it's used.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm watching Disclosure right now, and Kinsey seems like a greedy petty man. Not blathering insane yet, like he is in the current episodes. Hmm. I dislike believing in people that nuts, even though I know they exist IRL.

Would that make more Goa'uld found on earth than stargates?

I can think of two (Seth and Osiris). Any more?

Any more?

Just Osiris' already dead when discovered mate (forgetting name), but they're pretty much a package deal, I guess.

I watched Wormhole X-treme in its entirity last night. Much hilarity. (I love the scene of SG-1 reacting to their viewing of the video tape of the show.) Also, there's a video diary by Chris Judge as an extra on the DVD. It's about the Warriors ep (the one with Imhotep), and they spend a lot of it talking about the use of capoeira (sp?) as the martial art they decided to use for the Jaffa training going on in the ep (well, not called that on the the show, of course). I was glad to be able to connect capoeira, which comes up in discussions in various places here sometimes, with a visual. One of the cooler extras I've seen on these DVDs, actually.

They talked about the capoeira! I was so psyched to see it. I need to Netflix that DVD -- which one is it?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Hathor, IIRC.

I have a plan.

Was Seth the cult leader?

Yup.
