Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesus Christ, I love Vic Webster.

He's really talented, and IMHO a little handicapped by his pretty-boy looks.

Ayup. The writing for him sucked at the start of the season, and he had no place, and his current incarnation has no consistency, but damn if I'm not enjoying it.

I wonder if he feels the HoYay?

Strawberry disappointment.

Heh. Have you seen Wormhole Extreme yet? The Many Faces of Daniel Jackson spiel at the end is hysterical.

The Jackson spile at the end does for scriptwriting what Russians did for doll-making. It was hilarious.

I think I may not have seen the whole thing ... or I'm just blocking this part of it (unlikely), so now I'm just doubly looking forward to getting the DVD. Sigh. Loves me some SG-1.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

JenP:

BOCHER: I'm Christian Bocher. Portraying the character of Raymond Gunne who portrays the character of Dr Levant which is based on the character Daniel Jackson portrayed by the actor Michael Shanks originally portrayed by the actor James Spader. In the feature film.

Are you okay?

Oh, that's too funny.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ahem. Both David Marciano and Gina Torres are on tonight's CSI. GT got #1 guest star billing, and DM was only one or two further down than that.

It's a remora, dimwit.

The blond guy on "Everwood" is kind of like that, he's typecast by his looks into playing dumb jocks, though he's very arty and goofy and extremely into hoyay - but he does also acknowledge that even boring work is work, and he's thankful for it.

The first season or so of SG it really seemed that Shanks was doing his best Spader, but over time he's eased up on it.

Note to self: start watching Everwood.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I tried to watch Everwood a few times, whenever I was at a place that got the WB. Mostly, I was bored. But I admit that I wasn't trying very hard to care.
