Worst. Beard. Ever.

Mostly. Except possibly for the beard in Crichton Kicks. Erg. Slightly less badger-like, but still pretty bad.

Hey, y'all know about Ben Browder's TV movie, right? He's in (godhelpme) The Unauthorized Story of CHARLIE'S ANGELS on March 8th on NBC. I think that's Monday night, right? 9 pm. He plays Lee Majors, snerk. Apparently does a really good job, rather better than the woman they cast as Farrah.

I shall hold my nose and Tivo, so I can fast-forward through the awful parts. Early indications are that it's really campy, which could be fun. But there was a publicity still I saw on BB.uk which had Ben in a pink shirt with ruffles. My head nearly exploded.

But will he get to wear the red track suit?

Hmm. I remember that one as looking like it could possibly have been real. Ugly and scraggly, but actually convincing as having grown out of him.

The one in JC looked like it had set up shop under its own volition. I kept waiting for it to either crawl away or eat BB's face, or that I'd at least see the glue dripping.

I think so, Ken! At the Burbank Farscape con, Ben gave the women who run his biggest fansites some prop posters from the movie, and I seem to recall the picture was of him in the red track suit. But I could be misremembering, it was a while ago.

Actually, I believe you're right. The beard in JC was so bad that Ben insisted on growing his own for CK, which he could do, because of it being a season premiere.

Yeah. It may break my brain. I can see him as Ben, and I can see him as Crichton, but I had a very hard time watching that CSI: Miami episode he was in. This one may require large amounts of alcohol.

One of us...

Heh. It wasn't until recently that I realized I had watched Batman: The Animated Series religiously when it was on TV. I don't know why I forgot that, or why I never got into the comics until now.

That's where I'm at.

Yeah. And it's a ridiculous thing for me to be stuck on, because I do have people around who know the canon that can canon-check me.

Or maybe it's just that I know there's tons of stories out there I haven't read, so I don't have a pressing need to tell my own yet.

Hey, y'all know about Ben Browder's TV movie, right?

Oh lord. I'll have to remember to tape that. And possibly screencap it, if he does indeed wear a pink shirt. 'Cause, snerk.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies
