'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

When's the finale air in the US?

Um... first half on the 12th, second half on the 19th. I think. I have no idea whether it will be squeeworthy to a non-lover of the show, though.

Just a random comment: this show really loves its AUs, huh?

Heh. Well, that was an AU-heavy block, to be fair. I'm not sure they've had one since S4, unless you count Teal'c's dream episode with the firemen and the kidney.

(Weird summaries of genre show episodes are just fun.)

Oh, and Katie? Thea is writing a Farscape/Firefly crossover. Wheeee.

I just saw that. Kaylee! Love her.

Strawberry disappointment.

Jars: Squealing right here.

Kinda thought Jack would go for the brain bonanza, but damn!!!

I know!

Bye General George! Do you think that the new liberal-commander-lady type person will be hanging around, or making her way over to Atlantis?

Edited so I can wallow in my own slutulence.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Everyone knows that speed dial isn't avaliable on rotary dial stargates, they'd have to upgrade to touch-tone.

Worse, it's push button, but it is just a mask for the rotary interface.

I had a phone like that.

I have a plan.

The Nox have a speed dial as do a few others. It's probably some sort of remote control.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Is Stargate (heh, almost typed Starscape) the kind of show where an episode or two isn't going to cut it. Because the little I've seen doesn't do much for me. I had that problem with Farscape (and some other shows), but I've had no desire to follow up because RDA is of negative interest to me.

It's a McGuyver thing.

I have a plan.

Personally, I started watching it from the beginning, when it was a mini-series on Showtime. Love of the movie isn't a bad thing either.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think if you don't like RDA, it may be hard.

Not that I can imagine not liking RDA, since he's currently ranking as my hottest man on TV.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I liked the movie okay, and then slowly got into the show, but it's shown very randomly here, so it's hard to follow actual storylines. Jonas Quinn just showed up randomly for a couple weeks, then it was back to Daniel, then Jonas, then Daniel like died or something - the whole odd flippy thing had me wondering if Jonas was monk-created or some AU thing.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I always get confused as to which Goa'uld are alive and which are dead. There are currently 4 different timelines playing here: the Monday ones, the one-a-day ones, the Friday ones and the Sunday ones. All are in different seasons, so I am never sure where they fall. It's actually kind doesn't make a difference.
