Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I read the whitefont. Nooooo. Not that I am surprised, just that I won't see it for hours now. Sigh....

Geez. I'm crying like ... I wouldn't have expected to cry over Stargate. I had sort of pieced together who the deceased would be from some conversations here last week, but the way this ep was done, it still packed an emotional gut punch. They really did a phenomenal job on this one -- even the cliche naming of the baby after her didn't bug. Plus, cute baby. Kudos. Awwwww ... I really liked Janet. I'm gonna miss her. I teared up just about every place they were shooting for. And, you know, I'm sorry, but I'm a big sap, and I thought the Jack and Sam scene was very sweet. Oh, and Teal'c with the hugging of Sam? Awwwww.

OK, I've gotta go watch something to de-sapify myself right now.

All is well that ends in pizza.

OK, I've gotta go watch something to de-sapify myself right now.

OKay, then, don't watch the MASH finale on Hallmark Channel.

Hallmark Channel? Hell, I don't think I could keep it together for a Hallmark commercial right now.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I was spoiled last Saturday by somebody stupid at the Stargate panel at Boskone, who said who died right in the middle of a question. The entire room yelled at her, btw. I would have liked to have been unspoiled, so that the suspense was actually suspenseful. Even so, it was a good episode.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my.

I can still hear Janet saying "Colonel?" to Jack when he tells her to let Daniel ascend. When Daniel was sitting in the dark corner of the room, it tore at me. When Jack said "c'mere" it tore at me. Every time Carter cried, didn't you just want to do what Teal'c did, and hurry over? The quickening of his step got me too.

I didn't cry until the e roll call. That was nice.

Pretty well done, except for the terrible fakeout, which I refused to fall for, because NO. They chose well, for impact, though.

edit: Okay, that was probably gratuitous whitefont.

I just watched the Smallville episode Shattered. Damn you Smallville for making me feel feelings!

How can a show be alternately one of the best and one of the worst things on television?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Michael Rosenbaum and some crap-ass writing.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Is it really lame that I get sniffly every time I watch the rescue scene in "Tangent"?

"Jacob, thanks for stopping by."
"What the hell. I was in the neighborhood. Ya need a lift home?"
"Yes, sir. Thank you."

::sniff::

Plus, Teal'c "We are brothers" speech? Kills me every time. I am such a frickin' sap.
