Xander: Just once I'd like to run into a cult of bunny worshippers. Anya: Great. Thank you very much for those nightmares.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, that made me laugh too hard to decide what I thought the blots looked like.

Maps of Atlantis, every one.

I'm pretty sure the text on the deltabravo.com page is taken verbatim (and without credit, as far as I can tell) from William Poundstone's book Big Secrets.

Which is kind of funny, given the "copyright" language at the top of the page.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I kept thinking, "Cartoon character. With reflection." Which wouldn't be very helpful, I'm afraid. Anything can look like a cartoon character.

"Cartoon character. With reflection."

Two warty witches.

Two warty witches and some spilt mercury.

If it's not Atlantis, I mean.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I kept thinking, "Cartoon character. With reflection."

Me too. Apparently all the things I thought were rabbits are actually women, or penises.

Also, I'm gay, mentally defective, possibly schizophrenic, and have difficulty relating to people.

Me too, Jess. Also, I see my father as a dwarf. I have no idea what that means. My first instinct was an amiable dwarf, though, so at least it's... somewhat positive.

If it *is* directly copied from Poundstone, it's 20 year old analyses. I don't know if the test/interpretation methods would have changed in that time or not.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Yeah. I'm apparently hostile and gay, but do not have castration anxiety. But I totally flunk the Gestalt one, because all I could think of was, "You know, that's a little bit like the map of Earthsea. I wonder if Ursula used it to make her map..."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Well, I said implied, because all we got was her resting her head on his shoulder.

According to epguides.com, they cut a kiss from the episode.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I've heard - look! It's third-hand scuttlebutt! - that Beneath the Surface was actually going to be shippier originally, but AT and RDA weren't happy with the idea. For what it's worth.

I can't even find the woman in that first inkblot. So very paranoid, apparently.
