Have you guys ever seen a photo of Hermann Rohrschach? I am ashamed to admit he was rather hot, as dead Swiss projective psychologists go.
Hermann's pictures look better than the rest of those guys in part because he died at age 37, just a year after publishing the first book about his test. The rest of them kept getting older. In true psychodynamic fashion, Hermann's nickname as a kid was 'Klex,' which means inkblot.
Why is Sam ever wearing as much eyeliner as she does?
It's to keep the glare out of her extra-large, extra-blue eyes. Daniel has the glasses, Jack wouldn't be caught dead in makeup, and Teal'c -- well, nobody has to ask about Teal'c.
Teal'c -- well, nobody has to ask about Teal'c.
Because he wore more eye makeup than Sam?
Also, nobody dares.
Is Scrappy around? I have a pitch idea for her:
New this fall on the WB: Rorschach, the life and loves of a hot European whiz-kid and psychiatrist, set against the backdrop of the Great War. Starring Jamie Walters.
Will he be wearing eyeliner?
No. But many, many cravats.
(Did I not say he was hot?)
(Contrast to, say, Einstein in his 20s, or I don't know, B.F. Skinner. Both of whom I have seen young photos of, and neither of whom was hot.)
Klex. Ha! Fun nickname. Although one wonders if one gets called "inkblot" as a child because one (a) has a wild imagination and a tendency to lie; (b) is a total klutz; or (c) has a funny birthmark.
Klex, huh? He was well ahead of his time, even if his young tormenters misspelled "Klark".
