Sweet jesus why didn't someone tell me that Michael Rosenbaum played a cross-dresser in Sweet November.

The movie sucked beyond the telling of it, but I'll sit through Keanu Reeves' shallow epiphanies about the meaning of life if it means I get MR in drag AND a cowboy hat.

I nearly fell off the couch.

We've talked about it here and there. I also liked the partner, but oh yes on the Rosenbaum. He looked so good, didn't he?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I never would have seen it if it weren't for the promise of MR. It was atrocious.

The arms! The arms of him. Those are good arms to have. When he picks up Charlize and is all sleeveless and flex-y and the with the glasses. Yumm.

I then had a dream that we broke out of prison together. We were cell mates. I didn't want to break out, but he insisted.

Me too, ita. Unfortunately on HBO, so I couldn't fast-forward or skip bits for fear of missing him.

I caught the last 20 minutes or so - so I knew how bad it was going to be based on the end. But there was MR! So then Pretty in Pink was on and I did some stuff - then they started Sweet November over. I knew it was going to suck. But I had to watch - cause Lex in a cowboy hat!!!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

That's one of those terrible movies more remarkable for the number of people it involved in its terribleness than anything else. The downstairs couple being, of course, Lex Luthor and Captain Hook/Lucious Malfoy.

I mean, Saddam Hussein and Satan sort of trumps them, on the evil couple-o-meter, but they were animated.

Art Crawl!!!

How was I so totally unaware that Luke and mini-Jack were the same actor?

Okay, so I saw the Stargate last night with the stamped personalities and the mining.

First, let me wave my hands like a maniac about all the plot implausibilitiies, of which there are many. Just for star-- no, I won't get into it, or I'll be here all day.

This is a ficcer's dream episode because of the implied Jack/Sam in it, I assume? And because of Shanks' arms -- and I assume that's why he went sleeveless, while Jack and Sam were all bundled up in those cute quilted jackets.

And what is it about orange and personality-dampened alien slaves? The Farscape ep "Thank God it's Friday Again" had orange pajamas, too...

Lex Luthor and Captain Hook/Lucious Malfoy

THAT'S who that was. He was great.

And Lex/Lucious is yet another pairing I hadn't ever thought would exist in my brain...and now it does.
