Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

It's a remora, dimwit.

The issue with Farrell was that each season she'd make a big stink about wanting out, but then she'd refuse the departure terms and end up staying another season. It's one of the reasons why the Bashir&Dax chase-thing went on so long - there was reluctance to commit Dax to any sort of longterm relationship since they never knew if she was going to be back next season. It wasn't like the more diplomatic departures of Denise Crosby and Jennifer Lien - Lien being known as the woman who ran subduedly screaming from Voyager just before it really began to suck.

I wonder if Porthos leaving is a sign that the actor who plays him realized that the show isn't going to get any better, and he wants a role with more depth.

Yes, Snoopy can get better roles than Enterprise.

Revenging Angel on Farscape broke my..."something"-meter. It wasn't fair coming when it did, but it still just cracked my shit up so completely it became my first keeper episode on tape.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Just watched Revenging Angel and The Choice.

God, I love The Choice. The plot doesn't really make any sense, but Claudia Black is shockingly good. And the scene in the hallway, with Stark and Crais? Wow.

I like Revenging Angel too, but not as much as Scratch N Sniff. There's a theory that Moya!John died in Revenging Angel at the same moment as Talyn!John did...

I'm almost tempted to watch BSG but then I remember it's Sci-Fi, and they claim they're reinventing television science fiction... ::rolls eyes::

Art Crawl!!!

Hmm, DDK -- was his character killed on 24? If not -- I think that 24 needs him back.

They're running the Smallville season finale next week. Does this mean that in the week just prior to the season premieres of both Smallville and Angel they're going to what-- run a movie?

Oh, and how sad is it that the season where he gets to be a regular, Peter Wingfield is hardly on Highlander . . . at least he was getting paid.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Huh. I like that idea.

ITA about The Choice -- WTF plot, but wow Claudia Black.

It's much, much worse. The WB will be airing Hillary Duff's Island Birthday Bash the week before the Smallville and Angel premieres.

And you're going to take the bullet and tape that for us -- in case there are promos, right?

But of course. We need to keep the eye-and-ear bleeding to a minimum.
