I enjoyed SG-1 but agree that what'shisface is a jerk. We can only hope that he will die a horrible death in some future episode.
Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
I thought they all learned English really quickly from the TV? Not that that's much better a rationale.
Naw, they're just smart and John taught them a little bit before they arrived on earth.
D'Argo: "Bite me."
Besides, I don' t think they could learn it from tv, as they would understand it inherently. At least not in the land of logic.

God, poor Sam.
I clearly remember Aeryn learning English from Sesame Street. So there.
Well, angst for Sam makes drama for us. . . . plus -- she really should have been more upset at him for spying on her. . .why wasn't she?

It's Stargate. The woman mind-melds with complete strangers from alien planets based on three days' aquaintance, for God's sake. (Plus, all the writers are guys.)

I remember her trying to read a book John gave her on Moya, before they went to earth.
Also, the SG-1 ep. never taped. So I miss out on all the fun.

I remember this too - the Henson connection jumped right out at me.
Sikozu could have taught them all. She had to learn English from Crichton the hard way, without translator microbes.

Maybe she's just waiting until he's out of the recovery bed until she tears him a new one. Though I doubt it, considering how cheerfully she started telling him about the wonders of the stargate. Anyway, I'm a fan of DeLuises in general, so I hope they let him stick around for a while.
Last night I watched the ep in which Martouf dies. Sad making. I liked the character and, well, think J.R. Bourne's kind of a cutie. I should see what else he's done.
Edited to white font retro-spoiler for those who haven't seen all of Season 4 because I feel bad for poor quester now! I know, three seasons ago hardly requires white font. Still.
