Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Aha. So you've seen the afore-mentioned immensely satisfying SG-1?

Finally, Sam gets her end away. It took long enough. I suppose she's just lucky he managed to survive to the end of the episode.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

But Jars, I don't think she's lucky at all. The guy is a jerk.

Jars - Jan 31, 2004 1:31:50 pm PST #3320 of 10000

Yeah, but he got grievously injured for his trouble. And he's still breathing, which is a step in the right direction for a Sam love interest. And she probably would have done the same thing. All cloak-and-dagger like.

Plus, it's been years. Does it really matter if he's a jerk?

I don't have to whitefont this, do I?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, no whitefonting now.

I don't see why he didn't assume it was classified (I can see her hesitance in saying that right away -- he's a normal guy) and leave it alone.

I still did think, when she was in the elevator with Jack and he was being all ... Jacklike, that Pete was all well and good, but DAMN that's one hell of a man.

Ah, well.

Sam deserves better.

Sam deserves better.

Yeah, but she hasn't exactly been trying, has she?

Though if I could watch Daniel and Teal'c working out as part of my job description, I probably wouldn't bother putting in the effort either.

And if Jack'd look at me that way every now and again ... who cares about fulfilment?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It's 9:00pm in the Central zone, and TNT is showing The Matrix. It will be followed by The Last Flight of the Osiris from The Animatrix. In case anyone like me hasn't seen it.

I have a plan.

It will be followed by The Last Flight of the Osiris from The Animatrix. In case anyone like me hasn't seen it.

It's freakin' awesome. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Evenin' folks.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

You know, I have stopped watching Smallville a while back, but even so, this new SV vid by sisabet managed to rip my heart out and stomp it to bits. Gah. Michael Rosenbaum does such an amazing 'anguished' face. The effects, the timing to music, the lyrics, the theme--it's just such a beautiful vid, one of the best things she's done, I think, which is no mean praise given her previous work.
