It's a remora, dimwit.

I was a bit iffy about the Kents keeping kryptonite around the house when they know it could kill their son, but maybe it's like their board of education. When your son's Superman, there's not much you can do to discipline him, unless you try spanking him with a kryptonite paddle.

All is well that ends in pizza.

he wrote Lois Lane's name on them, right? Who knows that is Chloe's psuedonym?

Chloe has mentioned her "cousin" in Metropolis. Maybe her cousin is Lois Lane...

Maybe her cousin is Lois Lane...

Yes, Chloe said that last night. But she gave dead!Editor a disc with stories on it and said that she could use Lois Lane as new pseudonym.

I can't recall if anyone knew about the pseudonym or if it died with the editor guy.

edited because just the one spelling of pseudonym is plenty

It's a remora, dimwit.

And her cousin takes advantage of the fame Chloe established to get a job - though that implies that Lois Lane herself isn't that much of a reporter, she's just standing on the shoulders of a giant. What seems risky is that Chloe chose the name of a relative - if Lionel figured out who her father was, he could probably keep a file on cousins as well. I would have preferred for the name to be some sort of injoke, or reference to a Lois Lane, a street special to her in Smallville.

You think?

Not based on any spoilers - I keep having a feeling that Chloe will actually be Lois.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't want that. I'm working on articulating why, but a lot of it is Smallville using up all of Superman. Let him have new stuff when he gets to Metropolis. Not recycled old stuff.

Hmm, maybe the cousin could have no interest in journalism at all, but some plucky young woman trying to get her foot in the door takes the credit so she can have a chance at a job at the Daily Planet - that's the sort of pushiness and occasional moral questionability one would want to see in a Lois Lane.

I don't want that.

I can't say that I do either. I think it would be an interesting twist on the mythology and kind of cool way to tie to gether the thisshowverse and the comicverse - but I agree with you.

Still a lingering feeling though...AM is HUGE with the Smallville fans, much more so that KK.

I have a plan.

I'm all over that too. There needs to be a life developed after Smallville.

Is that a plot bunny?
