Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

And there were huge RayV vs RayK wars in the fandom, not unlike the Doggett Wars of XF seasons 8-9. I am right, yes?

Katie, you've never seen an episode, and managed to come up with all that? Damn, I'm impressed!

I've seen maybe three episodes of Due South. But I have many more sitting in my living room, waiting to be watched. When my friend got her Season 1 DVDs, she loaned me her tapes...and I had to loan her my Buffy Season 5-7 tapes. Hmm. Somehow, this doesn't feel like a fair trade...

I need to set my Tivo to watch for DueSouth.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Heya, folks! I've, uh, never watched an ep of DS or Farscape. But I'm very much looking forward to SV this season, so here I am...

Is it still on in reruns somewhere, Consuela?? I thought it wasn't! t scurries off to make a wishlist

When does Smallville premiere? And when is it on, this season?

Thrive to spite them

There were huge RayV/RayK wars. You'd have to ask Shrift and Dana about those.

I don't think Due South is on reruns anywhere. The dvds are available from Canadian sources only, except the pilot isn't part of the S1 dvds---there's supposed to be some legal reason why.

meara, SV starts October 1, and it's the lead-in to Angel this season. A whole Wednesday of pretty angsty ho-yay goodness, and for once, it's on a night I'm free.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Fanfic. (Well, and being in the Due South topic...) Speranza's stories are the ones that manhandled me into reading off-and-on in the fandom.

lj just had a really funny "stuff I know about shows my friends watch" meme go through. Amazing the things you pick up.
