My favorite Samantha resolution was in "Paper Hearts" - odds were that she was taken by a serial killer, but Mulder needs to believe that she was taken by aliens and can somehow be rescued, she's his Holy Grail, his Zelda, and he can't let himself believe that the cause is hopeless.

Hmmm, apparently CKR is in The Butterfly Effect -- how did I not notice him in the many manytimes the trailer was played before RotK?
(Possibly, because having seen the trailer the first time, I just ignored it the next couple of times.)
