I'm with you. Although, now that I think about it... I've never really felt much for the villains. Apophis, eh. Herruuuuur, eh. Anubis, who doesn't even have any features (unlike Apophis's I-smell-something-bad high eyebrow of Doom!) but is essentially a big old cape walking around... I like the non-arc episodes, mostly, and I wish they'd done more with Ahmonet, because that story made no sense. Ahh! The injustice!
The red-shirt is not only a Star Trek tradition, it was just that Trekkers gave that sort of character a name.
I love that the character was a guy named..."Guy".
My other regret about the movie was that they cut out all the bits that made it abundantly clear that Tony Shaloub's character was getting stoned all the way through the movie, although it was still pretty obvious what was up with him
Here's a question from somebody who obviously wasn't paying attention:
When Enrico Colantoni was on SG1 before -- didn't he play a different character? Or am I confusing him with somebody else?
And I got this whole Cordy-vision thing from that promo. Yech.
I don't think Enrico Colantoni has been in Stargate SG-1 before, but I could be wrong.
I'm actually psyched for the next episode. I love it when SG (or any other show) does dreams/hallucination/AU stories. Forever In a Day and Changeling are some of my fave eps of the show.

I didn't like that they cut out Dian Bachar's only line.
I just had him pegged as a laconic, Oz-sort of guy. Instead of the standard firey passionate engineer, he was calm and open to whatever was going to happen - more like a lot of engineering people that I know IRL.
Ooh! "Forever in a Day"'s the 7:00 on SciFi tonight. Just so y'all know. Nothing particularly plot-advancing happens, but I'm looking forward to rewatching, this time knowing how it goes.
Hehe, I was in Enrico's house today. I relayed the love of his role in Stargate. He had the GalaxyQuest script sitting on a shelf. I had to be all serious and professional and not fangeeky.
Hmm. I don't think I could work with movie/TV actors. My fangeekiness is too deeply ingrained.
