I think (I think ) that it's the kid from Little Man Tate that he reminds me of. Also he was in The Ice Storm. An all-growed up version. And good looking. And only from the side. And quite probably only in my brain.

I think Tobey Maguire was Christina Ricci's older brother, and the possible-Ryan-a-like was Elijah Wood's younger brother. It's been a while since I saw it though.
