Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Sean,

Glad you're enjoying the eps!

So I just saw the Farscape episode "Kansas". Talk about watch from the hall material. I assume this is the point where the wheels started coming off in season 4 in earnest? Liked bits of it, but all in all, it was painful.

Oh, there was some good about "Kansas." Aeryn learning English (Whee-ul... ), Noranti drugging that poor cop...

Glad you're enjoying the eps!

Hee! It even prompted a tag change... t points to new tag

While I thought that was a bit watch from the hall - Aeryn was a little too child-like/delighted - but I loved that, for the most part, she was learning English from SESAME STREET!!!!!

Rygel's sugar jonesings were alternately funny as hell and cringe-inducing.

I thought the basic Challenger set up was a bit on the cheap side.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

For posterity, Sean's tag is

JOEL: What about you, Crow? What do you want for Christmas? CROW: I want to decide who lives and who dies.

One of the nicely darker moments of that series....

Also nicely unexpected. Tom Servo was the one with infinite realms of self-confidence (generally delusional).

My favorite exchange from MST: Gypsy: Tom, I don't get you. Servo: Nobody does - I'm the wind, baby! exits in a flourish

Yeah, that was kind of my feeling on that part, too.

Servo was my hero for a while. That's a bot after my own heart.

Hell, he's got my favorite line from the MST movie, when he goes crazy and tries to tunnel home, puncturing the hull...

"Oh, there it is, "breech hull, all die," I even had it underlined..."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aeryn learning English

She shoulda just learned it where Noranti did.

Okay, so I just watched the 1st and/or 2nd episode of The O.C. I think. I'm kind of drunk. Who in sweet hippy Jebus' name does that Ryan chappy look like? It's burning a hole in my brain, and let me tell you, I barely have enough brain to get by as it is.
