'Conversations with Dead People'

Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I finally watched this week's OC.

So. Who else watched with the closed-captions on? Because the captioners slipped the word "fuck" in, and I'm not even remotely kidding.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was gonna come back and link to my favourite from those first bunch from Dana's post, but I kept getting a new favourite every time I clicked.

God DAMN they're pretty and look nice in a tight tee.

I love Last Stand, but oddly not enough to tape it. Perhaps because it needs Summit, but I don't like Summit as much.

Watching the newbie die, seeing Sam lose Lantash after losing Martouf -- just great.

Triple threat!

You know, I hadn't been looking for a GAYLE when I watched Smallville originally, but Clark telling his dad he was cramming did raise an eyebrow.

Not until rewatch, however, did "Clark, you're either with me or against me -- choose right now." ping me. Mostly because I was expecting the answer of "Why not both?"

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Not until rewatch, however, did "Clark, you're either with me or against me -- choose right now." ping me.
I felt like a pinball machine watching that episode. It pinged me with nearly every scene. I felt like they found some Lex/Clark fic and decided to tape that instead. I think I will go rewatch it myself.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Totally ficcy. Not in a bad way. And even slashier than this week's Angel, which is saying something.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

And even slashier than this week's Angel, which is saying something.

I didn't watch the show, but is that even possible without Queer as Folk-style humping onscreen?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

You wouldn't think so, Matt, but I, at least, got more from it than I did from Angel. I think I shall must rewatch tomorrow...

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Man, I am ready to send Suela all the Lagunitas IPA she could ever want.

Awww, thanks, Steph! (Address is in the mail... *g*)

I am only a casual Farscape fan (would probably be more into it if SciFi didn't mess with the re-broadcast schedule so much) - but I am so happy for Farscape lovers!

Thanks, Tina! We're happy, let me tell you.

This was the site I was waiting for. Now it's official for me.

Bwah, thanks Sean! Nice to know people trust us.

Anyway, yeah. 4-hour miniseries, script by Kemper and O'Bannon. I'm trying not to speculate about what it will concern, although my dream is that the Nebari would come back, and the great PK/Scarran confrontation would be put off for the inevitable final 22 episode season...

I don't know if it's worthwhile posting about the con in this thread, I'm sure there are con reports up already -- check Snurcher.com for what's probably the most comprehensive. But the con was great fun, the panels all seemed to go well (even mine!), and the cast was witty and smart and beautiful.

If I only had a brain...

Or it could be two jellybeans lying in a bowl of jellybeans, rocking backand forth and saying "Mmm... pie".
