Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't want a crazy Lex.

I don't think we'll get a crazy Lex - because as soon as the drugs wear off he's back to normal right?

Anybody notice Forrest from S4 Buffy in the Tru Calling promos?

eta: whatever normal means for Lex - just not as crazy as last night is what I mean

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

skipping over everything:

I know -- watch smallville for the pretty boys. Ignore the plot holes. Laugh at the the fact that it is suppoesed to be family friendly tv. But the episode from last night made me angry. Clark betrayed Lex. He knows Lex is being drugged. Yet he just lets him get taken away. Granted Lex looking all tortured is yummy. But please, give me a break. this isn't just messing with the Smallville myth - of Clark the good teen with a loyal heart. It is messing with the whole Superman cannon. If there is a break Lex should be be the cause. Not Superman. Right now I would not believe that this itteration of superman fights for good. He just tries to hide. and he will lie, he will steal and he will commit violence, plus leave his friends to be hurt. Where the hell is clark learning anything about Truth and Justice.

Good thing there is a hiatus. Time might make me forget everything but the pwetty boys.

See, in the Smallville season occurring in my head, Lex got over his fixation with Clark a while ago; now he has an on-again off-again thing with Wes and helps coordinate the superheroing business while Clark goes to college.

I think I'll watch Emily's show.

Oh, definitely! You'll want to see if you can get tapes from somebody, though, since the two-part season finale with the Wes/Lila/Lex orgy was really a triumph of good taste.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

About Smallville: What reason would Lionel have to disable Lex's short-term memory for? I sure can't think of any logical reason, other than it would be really sad-making.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Theo, because he's The Magnificent Bastard. And, I assume, to wipe what Lex has been finding out in the last few weeks about Lionel's past. Mostly, though, the bastard thing.

tina f. - Nov 20, 2003 10:00:02 am PST #2279 of 10000

If Lionel *is* in cahoots (love that word) with Edge then the short-term memory wipe will help with the whole not remembering Edge's new face, new voice thing. Because we don't think for a second that shooting him three times and colliding him with Clark actually killed him. That would just be - silly.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm having Deep Smallville Thoughts.

I think I need an intervention.

But it ties into Lex, Clark, Lionel, and choices/losses.

And I can't make it go away.

Blast.
